Boundary Canoe Paddles
Go beyond your boundaries!
At Boundary Canoe Paddles, boating and paddling is a way of life. The passion began multiple generations before, and continues on now. Our mission is to make your paddling experience better through our innovative, intelligent designs and high-quality construction methods.
At the core of our design philosophy, Boundary Canoe Paddles focuses on a fine balance between the most lightweight composition of materials and the highest output (performance) in the design of each canoe paddle. Each unique paddle design is a carefully combined give-and-take of paddle characteristics. This is done in an effort to give the consumer a broad spectrum of choices in the performance ability of the paddle purchased. Whatever type of canoeing you might enjoy, we are confident you'll find the perfect paddle to enhance your paddling experience.
Take your watercraft, your family, your friends, and yourself beyond the boundaries with Boundary Canoe Paddles.
My name is Aaron Browning, owner of Boundary Canoe Paddles. I am a former “Iron Ranger” (from northern Minnesota) now living near my family, now residing in Shorewood, Il. I have operated a small custom cabinetry business for more than 10 years now. I do enjoy cabinet-making, but this type of work has never given me a true outlet for my creativity and design capabilities. So, a few years ago I started making canoe paddles for myself, my friends, and my family. We were all amazed at the beauty of these paddles. I received so many positive comments on my paddles that I decided to take my passion to a new level, and began building canoes and fine canoe paddles on a much larger scale. I make all of the fine products that we offer at Boundary Canoe Paddles. My products are designed, first and foremost, to be durable. As a bi-product of my perfectionism, these products are also very beautiful!
My family has been enthusiastic about fishing and boating for generations now. Many of the avid canoeist within my family live in the eastern U.S. I have been the only one lucky enough to live in the Great North (Lakeland, MN), right on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I canoed, fished, hiked, x-country skied and snow-shoed this beautiful area for 10 years before I decided to move my small family nearer to my parents in Illinois. I hope my passion for canoeing and paddle-making will bring my family back to Northern Minnesota some day to build a home, and of course, go canoeing!
