Just as important as a good comfortable pack, a comfortable yoke will make those tough 300 rod portages just a little easier.
Our supremely comfortable and very lightweight yokes are available in a vareity of wood species. All solid wood construction made from either white ash, walnut, or ultralight-weight mohagony. The lightweight mohagony yoke is designed for lightweight canoes (under 50 lbs.). We make our yokes at a length of 36 inches, then (if neccessary) you can trim each end to fit your canoe. Each yoke is coated three times in ultra UV, weather protecting varnish.
